Summer was crazy for me. I had the chinese intensive language course, and my father had a stroke in July. He's OK now, but life was wierd and stressful for a long bit.

As for now, I am the president of SGA and the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, a member of 7 clubs, and I'm taking 18 credits - 13 regular credits and 1 honors credit at PVCC, 4 credits at UVa (chin 201 - the professor signed me into her regular class!). I also volunteer as a writing/english tutor for 4.5 hrs a week at the Learning Center at PVCC, and teach ESL on weekday mornings.

My long-term goals are to get an ASS in Business Administration and transfer to UVa's McIntire School of Commerce and major in international business and marketing. This summer I plan to study abroad in Shanghai and complete my third year of Chinese. I'd like to be tri-lingual, the only problem I'm having is finding the time to keep up my Spanish.

That drawing with the prisma colored pencils is coming - it's mostly finished, but I found out that I can highlight things with fine-point sharpie, so that's where I am now. It's a scene of Alice in Wonderland, the composition is based on a photo I took at Otakon.

I also have a bunch of photos from various excursions - I'm excited about putting up ones I took in a cemetary.

An issue plaguing me though - I should get a job. Not now of course.. I actually don't know when. I might just have to ask to be paid rather than volunteering as a writing tutor at PVCC, and I could increase my hours. If you're thinking "wait, what about teaching ESL?" I do it more as a favor for a family that's long-time friends with my family. The income is small and not steady.

I do homework in my spare time.
